New children's book "Pünktlein und Amélie"
I have illustrated a children's story entitled "Pünktlein and Amélie" (ISBN 978-3-9526290-0-0). Pünktlein is a tiny fantasy character who moves in a world of small animals and insects. The book can be purchased online or soon in every bookshop. The launch will be on Wednesday, January 28th 2026 in the Bibliothek of Spiez.
About me
I was born in Italy but have lived in the Bernese Oberland for a long time. After many years working as a general practitioner, after retiring I began pursuing my passion for visual arts more deeply.
I have always been fascinated by the expressive possibilities of colors. I try to use them to capture moods and show situations. I find it exciting to experiment with different materials, such as wood.
The printing technique used in woodcut allows the same motif to be printed with different colors, thus conveying different moods.
